A wild turtle on a long journey

On a quiet dusty farm road near Chappell Hill, TX, I met a wild turtle. I do not know where he (she?) came from but he was in the middle of a long journey. Cars and trucks only come back and forth every 30 minuets or so on the road -- but it is still a heavy traffic for a turtle to walk across it.
